Article 7 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement specifies that the University shall maintain a Faculty Handbook which shall be complete, up-to-date, and accessible to all bargaining unit faculty members as an online resource available on the Academic Affairs website. A hard copy of the Faculty Handbook as posted on the website shall be made available to bargaining unit faculty members in the Office of Academic Affairs and also available for electronic download at the beginning of each academic year.

Article 6 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement specifies that faculty and the university alike are bound by all duly-adopted policies and past practices at the university, so the policies and practices described in the Faculty Handbook should, except in rare cases, be grievable if they are violated.
