Faculty Organizing for Success

Sessions for 2017-18

The program's monthly sessions (held on Thursdays from noon-2 with lunch provided) will include tenure track and career non-tenure track faculty from across campus addressing topics that include:

  • Establishing and implementing your research plan
  • Developing a teaching, research, and personal support network on campus
  • Navigating departmental and institutional cultures
  • External grants and fellowships
  • Approaches to undergraduate and graduate student mentoring
  • Book proposals and working with presses and journal editors
  • Meeting your equity and inclusion obligations
