The page, however, does not provide information about which units have a policy or practice of sharing the departmental review with the candidate. If your unit does have such a policy or practice, you should be entitled to a copy of this report.
Faculty who receive a negative report from the dean should be aware they have 10 days to submit a response before the file is sent to the Provost’s office. This response to the dean’s report can be crucial if factors have been overlooked and the Provost absolutely takes them into account.
